André Torre is awarded the ERSA Prize 2026. An internationally renowned scholar and author, he is praised for his contributions to Proximity relations, and their importance in processes of Territorial Development, mainly in three fields: local interactions between firms and organizations; land use, urban-rural and political conflicts; and local dimensions of circular economy.
The prize will be awarded during the 65th ERSA Congress in Sofia (Bulgaria).
